In mid-February of this year, I went to a friends house to help them with some computer issues. When I open my own laptop computer, I was greeted by white noise. huh? Yes, you know when flip the channels on regular television with no cable and there is that channel that has white noise. Well, that was my laptop that day. I waited for about a minute and heard sound notification for my iChat making a connection to the internet. So, I said to myself that the computer is actually working but the screen was having some problems. I would never expect such an error from a mac. lol! I decided to close the lid of my MacBook Pro (Mid 2007) and wait till it went to sleep again. I reopened the lid and more white noise but different this time. I decided to commence with a hard reboot, which fixed the screen issue. I have never had that problem since but it was very spooky. The interesting thing that the first time the screen shows its “colors”, a imprint of the password dialogue to unlock my screen was in appearance in the center of the screen. Mystery? sure!, Did I call apple? Nope! All in all, an interesting experience. I still love Apple.
